For a scary good time this October, try one of these great Austin area haunted houses.It’s October.  You know what that means, right?  It’s time to get your spook on!  There are several Austin area haunted houses that are now open for business.  To help all the good little boils and ghouls looking for a terribly good time, here are a list of the Austin area haunted houses happening right now:

House of Torment (Two Haunted Houses)

Where: 523 Highland Mall Blvd, Austin
When: Now through Oct 31st, 7pm
Cost: $14.99 for single house, $19.99 for both
Ages: Adults, teens and younger children with adults OK but you may want to leave the wee ones at home.

Mansion of Terror (Two Haunted Houses)

Where: 2000 S IH 35, Round Rock
When: Now through Nov 13, 7pm
Cost: $15 + fee for single house, $20 + fee for both
Ages: Anyone under 12 must be accompanied by adult. Better leave kids ages 8 and under at home with a sitter.

Scare for a Cure

Cost: $30 + fee for general admission, $35 + fee for more interactive

Tickets for the Scare for a Cure can only be purchased online here. All profits netted from Scare for a Cure will be donated to Austin area cancer-related charities and organizations.  Feel free to bring a can of dog food or treats to keep the wolves at bay.  All dog food will also be donated to Austin area shelters.
